Beta privacy note
Privacy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
CueCut processes uploaded videos so it can generate short social clips from DJ sets. This page explains the beta version in plain English. It is not written to hide the important parts.
What We Store
- Your account email and basic account plan.
- Videos you upload for clipping.
- Generated clips, logs, and technical job information.
- Feedback you leave on clips, such as ratings, tags, and notes.
- Billing status from Stripe, such as whether your account is Free or Premium.
How We Use It
- To upload, process, preview, and download your clips.
- To show job progress, usage limits, and recent jobs.
- To improve clip selection, camera behaviour, and beta reliability.
- To provide support when a run fails or a clip cannot be downloaded.
Retention
Source videos and clips are stored temporarily so you can preview and download results. Free and Premium accounts may have different retention windows. The app shows the active limits before you start a run.
Who Processes The Data
The app uses trusted service providers for hosting, database, storage, account login, payments, and GPU processing. These include services such as Vercel, Render, Supabase, Stripe, Cloudflare/R2, and RunPod depending on the active environment.
Deleting Runs
You can delete runs from the app. Deleting a run removes it from your history and removes stored clip files connected to that run where possible.
Social Posting
The app does not post to social media unless a future version asks for your permission and you connect the relevant account.
Private Beta Note
During beta, a small amount of technical information may be reviewed manually to fix bugs, failed uploads, failed workers, or clip-quality issues. This helps make the product more reliable before wider launch.
