Quick answers for uploading, processing, plans, clip selection, and what to do when something needs attention.

Section 01

Uploading

01

Do I need to upload audio separately?

No. Upload the video file and CueCut extracts the audio automatically during processing.

02

Why do I need to keep the tab open while uploading?

Large source videos upload directly from your browser, so the tab and device need to stay awake until it finishes. If your set is big, paste a Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive link instead — CueCut pulls the file directly and there is no upload to babysit.

03

My set is 20GB. Can I still use CueCut?

Yes. Free accounts take uploads up to 25GB and Premium up to 75GB. For files that size, use the link import rather than a browser upload — paste a Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive link and CueCut fetches it directly.

04

Can I use this on mobile?

Yes, the web app works in a mobile browser. For large DJ sets, desktop is usually more reliable.

05

What happens if I refresh or leave the page?

During upload, keep the tab open. After upload finishes and clipping starts, you can come back later and open the run from Your runs.

Section 02

Clips and processing

01

How long does clipping take?

Most full sets finish in under an hour. A 50 minute set producing 10 clips typically takes about 30 to 40 minutes once it has uploaded, and shorter test sections finish much faster. You get an email when the clips are ready, so you do not need to wait on the page.

02

Why did the app pick a clip without a drop?

Not every strong social clip needs a drop. The system also looks for mixes, builds, DJ moments, and visually useful sections.

03

Why did I get fewer clips than expected?

The app tries to avoid filler. If a set only has a few strong moments, it may return fewer clips instead of padding the result with weak clips.

Section 03

Account and plan

01

What does Premium change?

Premium gives you more clips per run, 1080p exports, larger upload limits, more monthly runs, and longer storage for finished clips. Free runs export at 720p.

02

Do I need to leave feedback?

No. Feedback is optional. Preview and download your clips first. Only leave a note if something is clearly wrong or especially useful to report.

03

Will it post to social media automatically?

Not yet. Direct social posting is planned for a future version after account linking and permissions are added.

Section 04

When something goes wrong

01

What should I do if a run fails?

Open the failed run and press Try again first. If it fails again, download the support file and send it with the video name.

02

What should I do if clips do not appear?

Refresh the run or open it again from Your runs. If it still looks wrong, check the Support page for what to send.

Need help with a specific run?

The Support page explains what to try first and what details to send.
